Course Foundation

The Diploma in Ayurvedic Pharmacy is a 2-year program that covers ayurvedic formulations, herbal medicine, and the preparation of medicinal products from natural resources. It equips students with the knowledge and skills needed for various roles in the production, distribution, and management of ayurvedic medicines and health products. 3 Months internship (one month Govt ayurvedic dispensary, one month ayurvedic pharmacy in college , one month private hospital)

Eligibility Criteria & Duration for D. Pharmacy (Ayurvedic) Admission in Punjab

Eligibility Criteria
• The candidate must have passed intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent examination with any streme and must have obtained minimum of fifty per cent. marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the aforesaid qualifying examination in the case of the General category, Economically Weaker Section and forty per cent. marks in the case of the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes and the Other Backward Classes.
• In respect of persons with disability specified under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (49 of 2016), the minimum qualifying marks in the said qualifying examination in Physics, Chemistry and Biology shall be forty-five per cent. in the case of the General category and forty per cent. in the case of the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes and the Other Backward Classes.
• No candidate shall be admitted to Diploma Course unless he or she has attained the age of seventeen years on or before the 31stDecember of the year of admission in the first year of the course.
• There will be two seats reserved for foreign national candidates, approved by the Central Government. The Section 4 (1) shall not be applicable for said foreign national candidate. For these candidates any other equivalent qualification approved by the Central Government may be allowed.
• Reservation Policy: The Institute shall implement the reservation policy in admissions, in accordance with norms of Government of India.

Registration Procedure:-
Candidates interested to join the program in Rattan Pro. Edu. College of Ayurveda Mohali, l have to register by paying the prescribed fee and completing all the admission formalities related to their documentation. Submission of all original certificates is mandatory at the time of registration for the program.
Panchkarma Therapy:-
Ayurvedic Panchakarma provides a deep biological reset by cleansing cellular metabolic waste (Ama), restoring the body's digestive fire (Agni), and correcting imbalances across all three biological energies (Vata, Pitta, and Kapha)

Panchakarma:-

Panchakarma is a traditional detoxification and rejuvenation therapy in Ayurveda. The term means “five actions” and refers to five therapeutic procedures intended to cleanse the body and restore balance.

The five main Panchakarma therapies are:

01. Vamana – Therapeutic emesis (controlled vomiting).
2. Virechana – Therapeutic purgation (bowel cleansing).
3. Basti – Medicated enemas.
4. Nasya – Administration of herbal medicines through the nose.
5. Raktamokshana – Bloodletting (used selectively in traditional practice).
